I absolutely love this post. The sarcasm, the wit, the truth that the perfect morning routine is a crock of unpunched bread. I was reminded a while back that, thus far, I haven't had the perfect morning routine, and GUESS WHAT? The world hasn't ended. All the things that have needed to get done have gotten done. Since then, I've allowed my morning "routine" to be whatever the heck it needs to be. :)
I have never been able to stick to a morning routine...unless it meant up and out the door for school when that was required more than 20 years ago. It just seems like there is no room to grow as a person...lets say you do follow one, where do you adjust for when life happens or things need tweaking. I am more a throw it to the wind and do what you need person ;) and there is no shame in that at all!
And let's not even talk about the daily and nightly skincare regimens we are meant to do to keep our whole faces from just collapsing in on themselves like an apple doll. 🤦♀️
I love this -Thankyou for writing what we have all been thinking. I mean, morning routine here usually involves fumbling to the loo with my eyes still closed, throwing on clothes, grabbing a coffee and pretending Im human whilst we do school. But hey, I'll take these points under advisement lol.

'A crock of unpunched bread" 😂 🥊
Kara, I really enjoyed this piece. 🤣
I am owning that I will never be a morning person who has a formal 17 step morning routine. I am a night owl!!!! Forever and ever!
I'm an accidental morning person, and I think I should try to work my way up to three steps max. 😂
Just when I think you can’t make me laugh any harder!
Right? This one was HILARIOUS!
Aww - you guys! Shucks.

TOTALLY. There are too many variables to commit to 4-6 hours of cow-milking, exfoliating, etc.
OMG Kara! 🤣 this is amazing! Perfectly written!
Aww. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this. You are a gift to my brain. We can never do all the things, can we?
No. We really can't. It's like live-action whack-a-mole here most mornings. 😁
"You only need 5 products as long as you're 22." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm dying.

"... and knuckles." Maybe that's what I am doing wrong. I'm still giggling.
